- Reviewed in Canada on October 2, 2017Verified PurchaseGreat product! We just moved into a condo which has the air registers on the wall, hotel style. The air is quite powerful and one is situated across our sofa. This product was the right size and performed well at deflecting the air from our faces. The magnets are strong and didn't need to use the screw slots. Bought another one for our bedroom. Would definitely recommend this product.
- Reviewed in Canada on October 13, 2020Verified PurchaseSuper easy to install (just stick on as a magnet) and it adjusts. It fits my vent on my ceiling perfectly and the magnet is very strong. Just make sure your vent cover is metal so that it works with the magnet.
- Reviewed in Canada on September 22, 2020Verified PurchaseTip: use a house magnet to double check if the vent is magnetic - not all are.
Unique product cus it's not the standard sizes currently available in the market. Not the sturdiest thing, so I don't think it's great value for money.
They should also include extra magnet extensions.
- Reviewed in Canada on March 14, 2019Verified PurchaseI only realized after purchase that my vent cover is not actually magnetic, and I can't screw anything into it. I tried hanging it with sticky hooks but it fell, and the fall cracked the screw holes. I plan on using velcro tape to hang it again, and I expect that'll work out fine.
When the product is actually in place it works very well to divert airflow, which is exactly what I wanted.
Despite my misadventures, I would buy this again.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 21, 2018Verified PurchaseCame loose in a small box inside a large shipper box without much packaging to save it moving around. A little plastic piece at the bottom of the product had broken and was dangling off the edge when I opened it. Other than the very poor planning on the shipper's part (-2 stars), it works well enough in my bedroom and so am not going to look into returning it. Functionally, it's fine. The breakage is mostly a cosmetic issue -- I would have had to return it if the register was wider.
- Reviewed in Canada on January 15, 2024Verified PurchaseKinda seems like a bit dangerous… product is meant to go on a heat vent, heat melts the deflector! Plastic melted after less than 3-days… and I barely heat my house!

5.0 out of 5 stars Deflector para ductos de aire lavado

5.0 out of 5 stars It may not melt depending on your setup
Verified Purchasea review for people who've read through comments about these melting. for the tl;dr crowd: yes it works. It redirects air. And the magnets are strong enough to hold onto a wall register. But here's the deal... not everyone's heaters are the same. I live in an apartment where I have one register in the living room and one in the bedroom. So unlike "central heating", all my air comes from this one register. This makes a MAJOR difference, because the temperature of said air must be drastically hotter than air spreading through several registers all over the house.
[I *need* to address the idiotic comment regarding "this melted and my heater is only set to 65 degrees". No. The heat coming out of your register is not the same temp as what the thermostat clicks on at. Your body runs at roughly 98.6 degrees. This air would feel cold on your skin if that were true. Stupid comment.] ANYWAY, so, I temped the air coming from my register and it is a staggering 280 degrees. If this is made out of polycarbonate plastic, then that begins to melt at about 297 degrees, so I can see why this might happen for some folks. And as I watched, I did notice some slight warping, so I decided to buy some heat reflecting spray paint. I'm not sure if this will help in the long run, but it's worth a shot, and it actually looks quite nice up against my register. So, I'm not going to knock off any stars for the seller because if your heater gets up to 290+ degrees then just about anything will probably melt. However, it would be prudent for them to add the temperature information to the listing. Although, to be fair, the listing does specify for *central* forced air heating/cooling only.
