My favourite kitchen appliance.
I have purchased this one cup coffee machine 3 times. I only drink one coffee a day, each morning, so it is important to me that it is made right and quickly and the perfect amount.I love this Machine It is so quick and easy and makes the perfect medium size cup. If I am running around getting ready to go out it shuts itself off....it pours the coffee drip into an insulated travel mug with a lid. First machine lasted about 5 years, Wow great for the low price. I bought my single brother one for his Birthday , He loves it too....this year I also bought myself another one. 10+ on this one.

    Perfect if you travel a lot! This single serve coffee maker is great if you like to have your own grounds and doesnt taste watered down like keurigs since its a drip coffee maker that you can set your own size and amount of coffee (manually, with experimentation).

    Its designed for the cup it comes with and i personally recommend filling grounds to level with the black "stripe" in the middle or slightly below. I like robust coffee and with the right qty of creamer (or sugar and cream) you'll get a great cup of coffee out of this. This is the second one i bought. One for work, one for home.

    I have purchesed three now, for different locations. They make two mugs at a time and make efficient use of the grounds. For one or two people these are ideal because the coffee is always fresh, not stale from sitting in a carafe.
    I don't actually use the thermal cup except to brew the coffee. I use normal mugs to drink out of, but the thermal cup is ideal for measuring the water and will keep the coffee warm for a while if it's not used right away. I keep mine on a small tray on a folded microfibre cloth because once in awhile I forget to put the cup in or I overfill it.

    Hey all. Here's a real review. Works exactly as advertised. First the bad, then the good.

    Some slight catches:
    there's a hole just above the fill line. It's there to keep the thing from being too full.
    Ask me how i found out about that. Water everywhere.
    It's very light. That can be good or bad. But it will fall over easily.
    There's nothing holding the cup in place, so if anything jostles it, the whole thing spills everywhere.

    That said, it works exactly as advertised. It works FAST. Like, from hitting the button, it's MAYBE two minutes tops, before you have your drink. That is just perfect.
    It's very quiet. It makes weird choking sorta noises, but they are quiet. If you want to use it at 3am, you can without waking anyone, even if they are in the same room. Very beneficial.
    Not complicated. There's a cord, a switch, and a cup.

    TLDR: for the.. 20-25$? i spent? probably the best purchase I've made this year. It's little, and its useful, it does what's on the tin. if you want a hot drink on demand, get it. i live in canada, we're just coming off winter, if I had bought it sooner, i'd be testing the warranty for 'overuse'

    I use this at my desk at work. It takes up very little space and perfectly drip-brews a coffee into the included travel mug. The included mug isn’t spill proof, but many other mugs would fit the machine perfectly well if you had a better one you wanted to use.
    Very easy to use (once you know how to use it!) and clean. The trick is that the “on/brew” button doesn’t work like most coffee makers- you press it and it goes, but there’s no turning it off- it just stops when it’s done.

    I am very pleasantly surprised. I have an old similar coffee maker (different brand) and this Black and Decker is much much better in all areas:
    Coffee comes out Hot.
    Coffee grounds basket/filter is good size. I like to make very strong coffee but small amount of it 150ml.
    Easy to clean, easy to operate.
    Quality of thermal cup and coffee maker is nice and sturdy.
    Thermal cup Is Thermal.
    I am happily donating my old small coffee maker.
    Also: I bought this B&D from 鶹 “warehouse deals” discounted and it is totally brand new sealed and packed in original packaging. Very happy coffee drinker here ☕️ 5 ⭐️
