  I have purchesed three now, for different locations. They make two mugs at a time and make efficient use of the grounds. For one or two people these are ideal because the coffee is always fresh, not stale from sitting in a carafe.
  I don't actually use the thermal cup except to brew the coffee. I use normal mugs to drink out of, but the thermal cup is ideal for measuring the water and will keep the coffee warm for a while if it's not used right away. I keep mine on a small tray on a folded microfibre cloth because once in awhile I forget to put the cup in or I overfill it.
