Connection Steps

1. Plug the keyboard into the 3.5mm interface;

2. Turn on the console and controller for PS5;

5. On the PS5 host, enter [Settings]-[Peripherals]-[Bluetooth Accessories] ;

Yes it works but it's annoying to use, I happen to have 4 controllers for my PS5 and I put this on one, the annoying part?......
Every single time I turn on this controller the sound from my TV STOPS, the PS5 recognizes it as a headset not Bluetooth keyboard (unlike the PS4 version that knew the difference) and because of that it turns off the TV speaker and it makes the sound come through the keyboard itself for this reason you have to go into settings and constantly change it back to TV
Yeah this keyboard has a little speaker built into the bottom of it but who wants to play a game listening to that little thing I'd rather play my game and just use the keyboard when I need it for this reason I do not recommend this keyboard I just can't be bothered to go through the hassle of sending it back I would avoid it if you don't want to keep constantly going into your settings every time you turn on the controller regardless if the keyboard is turned on or off, but if that doesn't bother you then yeah this keyboard will do just fine.

A video reviewer above reviewed that it is loose. When you install the keyboard, you need to push slightly hard until you hear a “click”. The review above showed the state of the keyboard before it clicked into the controller.

It was a little difficult to pair with the PS5 at first, but eventually I got it. Once it was paired, it worked like a champ. I use this for Final Fantasy 14 and Rocket League. A lot of times, it shuts off to conserve battery power, and at first I thought I needed to re-pair it with the console, but then I found out that if I press any key on it, it’ll turn on and pair automatically like 90% of the time. General usage comment: Connection successful in 10 seconds. However, connectivity is bad, I sit just 1.5 meters away from my PS5 with just my TV blocked their direct sight, noticeable delay occurs and duplicated signals start to occur as well (for example type a letter on a keyboard once, considered input the same letter 3-6 times). Plus some input is not delivered.
So, basically you will not be able to use it for actual typing for PS5.
Now Im trying to get a solution to extend the Bluetooth range for the PS5 (Apparently there is nothing I can do for the keyboard’s end)

In terms of battery, it last real long, I don’t need to charge it playing FFXIV for 3 days (Approx 6 - 10 hours a day)

Device time out and reconnect: It will enter sleep mode in approx 5 mins idle time, whenever you press a button it wakes up and will reconnect to the pair device (PS5 in my case), if it can’t reconnect due to low signal strength, the Bluetooth status light will just blink once in blue and turn off after 1 second which means you have to press some button again until it can reach the PS5 signal, I have to put my Dualsence controller (keyboard attached to it) right next to the PS5 console at the moment I want to wake up my keyboard. Luckily I sit just real close to my console. Well trust me if you’re not putting your controller like a several centimetres away from your console while reconnect, you might end up need to try up to 20 time to reconnect, eventually it could catch the signal but that is just about luck.

Durability: It is usable but don’t expect it can last for some years, so far it’s all good, buttons are precise and space bar button built by 3 clickbutton within the bar itself so you won’t mistakenly hit the spacebar since it cover a larger area so some gamer might mistakenly hit it sometimes but no it’s design avoided it.

Attach to the controller: Fair, it attached fine enough if you are not typing, but don’t expect it maintains the same during pressing on it (typing is a kind of pressure tho…) So yes, it will fall of when you type, definitely will. But an easy fix, I put two mini pieces of real thin type double sided tape on both sides of the controller grip, problem solved. Just apply strength if you want to detach it.

Chat Audio: use it if you want your friends to hear infinite echo and dump you some dirty words. But fair talk, loud enough in a low voice quality, but honestly what can you expect from a speak like that, it is a good feature for those just want to listen to what their friend say without a microphone, just don’t attempt to unmute yourselves in PS party… echo is severe in audience end.

Over all, I use it for FFXIV hot bar execution only (I just need to hit number buttons 1 - 0) so it is fine for me at least that.
Tried to use it to type, no don’t even think about it. You’ll find yourselves end up typed something like “iiiiii don’t wannnnnnnaaa talk rght nw let me call yu bak in a mintttte” sort of things.

Perhaps this can be sort too if I find a solution to extend the PS5 Bluetooth. Hope this could help you decide.
