Diffuse Backlit Design. AUVON backlit night light features 16 LED bulbs with uniform luminescence and produces diffuse backlight by reflecting light onto the wall to avoid uncomfortable feeling of direct light into your eyes. Perfect for people who are sensitive to light and prone to insomnia.
AUTO Mode. In this mode, the motion sensor will detect motion over a range of 3-5 meters and 120°. If a motion is detected in darkness or when the ambient light is insufficient, this motion activated night light will auto-on and then auto-off when no motion is detected for 60 seconds to save you energy.
NIGHT Mode. In this mode, the dusk-to-dawn sensor will be activated, read the room light and perform corresponding actions. The light sensor night light will auto turn on at night or in the dark, auto turn off at dawn or in bright conditions, allowing for intelligent lighting without additional operation.
Comfortable & Adjustable Lighting. This led night light can be short-pressed for 8-step dimming, and long-pressed for stepless dimming within 1-50 lm to meet your different brightness needs. If the power remains connected, the dimmable night light will retain the last brightness setting, so there is no need to readjust the brightness each time.

I love this thing. I explored others. Others that also had motion sensing, one had auto brightness, but the functionality (and cost) of these night lights were unmatched in my tests.

I use the lights in my bathrooms to see where the things are is in the middle of the night without having to turn on the blinding main light, hurting my eyes and making the walk back to bed in the dark much more difficult.

It produces a warm, indirect light that I think is very pleasant. The brightness settings work very well for me and having those settings and the on/off/motion switch accessible while it’s plugged in is very convenient as sometimes I use it in the on position and sometimes I want it to only turn on with motion—which brings me to one of the main things I liked about this light over other options—that it turns all the way off when there’s no motion. Other lights would only dim with no motion or brighten with motion but always be “on” at night. I have no need for the light to be on when I’m not in the room so this really is perfect for my needs.

The only thing I don’t love is the company logo debossed on the front of the unit but honestly, it’s barely noticeable. It’s not noticeable at all when in use (as you can see from the photo), it’s only noticeable when the lights are on but only faintly and only if you’re really looking at it.

I’d give it 4.5 stars for that logo thing but I’m so happy with everything else about this thing that I’m happily giving it 5.

I've had these for several months and I can't live without them now. Honestly, I'm like the Three Stooges walking around my house at night in the dark and these things have saved me from killing myself by accident so many times. They turn on when you get near them and they turn off when you walk away, so you're not wasting electricity lighting up an area nobody is in.

I have one in my main bathroom, so there's no need to turn on a light in the middle of the night. I have another in my second floor hallway where there's no window light once the bedroom doors are closed. They're bright enough to see what you need to see but not so bright you get blinded in the dark. Plus they stay on as long as you're still moving within the sensor radius which for me is the perfect range. The units are well-made and don't feel cheap at all.

I also love the indirect light it gives off, it's such a nice warm color that is easy to go back to sleep after seeing. It's hard to capture the shade of light it in a picture but I still tried. Definitely worth the money, and it's a 2 pack!
