- Reviewed in Canada on December 17, 2023I love this thing. I explored others. Others that also had motion sensing, one had auto brightness, but the functionality (and cost) of these night lights were unmatched in my tests.
I use the lights in my bathrooms to see where the things are is in the middle of the night without having to turn on the blinding main light, hurting my eyes and making the walk back to bed in the dark much more difficult.
It produces a warm, indirect light that I think is very pleasant. The brightness settings work very well for me and having those settings and the on/off/motion switch accessible while it鈥檚 plugged in is very convenient as sometimes I use it in the on position and sometimes I want it to only turn on with motion鈥攚hich brings me to one of the main things I liked about this light over other options鈥攖hat it turns all the way off when there鈥檚 no motion. Other lights would only dim with no motion or brighten with motion but always be 鈥渙n鈥 at night. I have no need for the light to be on when I鈥檓 not in the room so this really is perfect for my needs.
The only thing I don鈥檛 love is the company logo debossed on the front of the unit but honestly, it鈥檚 barely noticeable. It鈥檚 not noticeable at all when in use (as you can see from the photo), it鈥檚 only noticeable when the lights are on but only faintly and only if you鈥檙e really looking at it.
I鈥檇 give it 4.5 stars for that logo thing but I鈥檓 so happy with everything else about this thing that I鈥檓 happily giving it 5.
