Overview

MAR3528 module is 3.5" TFT LCD with 262K color 480x 320 resolutions. The controller of this LCD module is ILI9486/ILI9488, it supports 16-wires DataBus interface. Moreover, this module includes the 5V-3.3V power conversion circuit and Level conversion circuit. This Module can Directly inserted into the Arduino Mega2560 Board ,it also includes the SD card socket and SPI FLASH circuit.

Arduino Code Instruction:

Firstly, copy the Library floder "..\Arduino Demo_UNO&Mega2560\Install libraries" to your Arduino IDE install Library path.
Insert your LCD onto Arduino Board,pins to pins.
Power on,use the Examples for test.
The “Example05-ShowBMP” and “SDCard Exten Examples” need a SD-Card,and it only support UNO Board.

This display work very well on an Arduino UNO.

The drawback is that no instructions are provided with the display.

There is also some kind of plastic film in front of the display that is not glued to the screen so when you use the touchscreen you need to apply some pressure so this film will get in contact with the screen.

I spent a considerable time looking for how to use it.

Unfortunately, �鶹�� doesn't allow external links in comments.

So I can't point you to the instructions and example code I found but here's the libraries you need to install:
- Adafruit_GFX
- MCUFRIEND_kbv
- Touchscreen

I am an electronics instructor. I purchased this to use as a demonstration for typical displays for a microcontroller. I purchased it after I completed the display section so it sat on the shelf for six months. When I pulled it out to configure it, the backlight worked but I could not get to display anything. I tried many forums and attempted every listed possible address to no avail. By the number of posts it appears to be a common problem.

They were very helpful, but only sent me 1 example for each board (uno/mega) which did not include any libraries or define which pins were touch, which is much needed for a tft display with touch.
Eventually found a link on the Arduino.cc forum pointing towards using the MCUFRIEND_kbv.h libraries, and worked as intended. Just plug and play. It will not support URTOUCH.h or UTFT.h libraries! Contradictory to what is stated. Other than that is now working beautifully, and I can begin learning the code to set it up as desired. A little more info would be nice, but I think a lot of people, just getting into arduino, and the IDE (Myself Included) are just jumping into loading an arduino with code, and plugging in the component, instead of burning the bootloader. Which I now believe is where the examples and libraries can be found. Will have to get another display, and load it on a fresh Uno to verify.

Requires HX8357C drivers which isn't obvious. You need Adafruit_TFTLCD library, and you need to edit Adafruit_TFTLCD.cpp to use 320x480 instead of it's default 240x320--there's a commented out section in that file for the desired resolution.)

Also, my unit arrived with the LCD hanging off the main board loosely by some double-sided tape that didn't hold. And the corner of the screen was cracked, so it's being returned. (It was shipped in the same box as a bunch of bars of soap, which might have led to the cracking..?)

Update: I got a replacement one, and it seems to work well. Both display and touch screen work nicely with MCUFriend libraries.

The overall build is a bit fragile, so it's a good idea to put it in a case. (A good idea for any bare LCD screen.)

Some panels are crooked relative to pin headers, and some touch screens are crooked relative to the display. The larger pcb size doesn’t fit my enclosure, which could be tolerated and worked around, but worse is that the touch panel details are also different and don’t work with my program (my previous 50 units MAR3501 with the sans-serif Arial font have worked just fine...)

Previously happy with this product, but this latest order is being returned, and I’ve got a dozen more that appear to be from the same source that are also being returned for these same quality reasons, but mostly because they overhang the end header and block I/O pins that I need access to.
Shop carefully. Apart from the arial font, the previous version didn’t label the SD socket or the power regulator, and has fewer visible vias on the back.

Which is why I purchased 5 of them for my projects. I currently have this display actively working on my Indoor Garden.
