J'ai vu ce chef-d'oeuvre au cin¨¦ma et je ne comprenais pas alors comment un artiste de la pellicule pouvait construire un seul plan-s¨¦quence du d¨¦but ¨¤ la fin de son histoire. C'est un exploit surhumain dans une cr¨¦ativit¨¦ prodigieuse. Je regarde beaucoup de films et les jeunes r¨¦alisateurs am¨¦ricains font des films m¨¦caniquement en multipliant les plans superflus sans aucune qu¨ºte esth¨¦tique. On est tr¨¨s loin du cin¨¦ma italien. Mendes est dans une classe ¨¤ part. Oubliez les plans multiples minables et regardez bien son film 1917 qui offre un seul long plan cousu de transitions informatiques invisibles, voil¨¤ une oeuvre esth¨¦tique extraordinaire! D¨¦j¨¤ dans le film Spectre, Mendes m'a ¨¦bloui avec la sc¨¨ne de la f¨ºte des morts ¨¤ Mexico, c'¨¦tait le plus beau plan-s¨¦quence vu de ma vie. Wow! Mais imaginez, son dernier film est 1917 fois plus remarquable encore. Et la brochette de bons acteurs rehausse encore plus la valeur du film. ? mon avis personnel, Mendes est probablement le plus grand r¨¦alisateur du 21i¨¨me si¨¨cle. Achetez le DVD et d¨¦lectez-vous.
