  I really wanted to like this machine, but unfortunately it became defective within 20 minutes of use. It had the best reviews of all the items in my price range (bought this using the $ I received from family for my birthday.).
  
  The set up was easy enough. I ground a few cups of grain to start, as the installations stated, to get ride of any metal particles. That worked as stated.
  
  I then started to (very corse) grind some whole oats to used as duckling feed. In just a few minutes, not even a full hopper worth, I realized that the front grinding disk stopped turning....
  
  I had to empty everything out, which made a big mess, trying to figure out the problem... Turns out that the auger and front grinding plate are attached by a flimsy pin that had warped.
  
  Husband said he could probably weld it together to make it work again, but at this price he shouldn't have to fix it after 20 minutes...
  
  I will probably be returning this defective item for a refund.
