  These are sturdy, and well designed - but you can't just mount them on a flat spot on the under side of your trailer, as the foot is 1/2" too wide to allow them to close & latch in the up position, and going over a bump will make them flop down & drag on the road. I made 1/2" thick aluminum spacers to fit between the mounting plate & the under side of the trailer's rails.
