  I'm not quite sure how other people bent it. I've been using the long shoehorn everyday for a month now and the shape hasn't changed.
  
  The longer one works great for my shoes and boots.
  
  The smaller one is perfect for dress shoes.
  
  No issues so far, the design is sleek, great buy.
