  I have an older Kitchen Aid and this paddle worked well. I just had to adjust the height of the mixer to ensure the beater didn't hit the sides of the bowl. I would have given it 5 stars if I had noticed the defect on it before I used it. There is a piece of excess white coating that has created a sharp edged drip which I fear will chip off and affect the coating of the paddle. Oh well. Let's see how long this lasts. It is a great price and it fits. I'll know what to look for next time.
