  The primary reason to specificly buy a Rubbermaid-version of a lobby-dustpan is for its durability and its specific edge-lip that is strong yet malleable to form a seal against the ground surface so to not have to chase the debris consistently . on top of it being made of softer rubbermaid resins so you dont hear the clanking of hard rubber self destructing against generic hard flooring or tiles.
