  Bought it for my Mother in law (85 years)... she is struggling with her balance. It help her to stay autonomous, and to keep her pride and intimacy intact....the gard has 2 position, depending the size of the person : small or larger. But it is not a setting one can change on demand. The fact that it has no legs on the ground makes it easier to clean around the toilet. It is really stable. Easy to install.
