  Near silent, but does not move a lot of air. This is a limitation of the size of the fan though, so don't expect it to outperform a 120mm fan.
  
  I use two of these to cool my tray of harddrives, which never really get super hot, and as an auxillary exhaust because of the way my case is setup. They never really spin up to the point that you can hear them, which is awesome. When they are running on max, you can definitely hear them, but it isn't overly loud or annoying.
  
  My fan controller built into my motherboard has detected they will run at a minimum of 38% power, so anything lower than that will shut them off completely. You can't really hear them until around 45%, and they become quite loud around 80% power.
