  My chair has a hard time rolling right up to this, the wheels keel kitting the stool. It does help with ergonomics when you position just right. Sometimes I makes be clunky sounds when you accidentally move it. It basically works like an original sewing machine where you have to push the board forward and back. So if you can get this just right, might be worth it. If you move from your desk space alot, it might be annoying.
