It can also connect the same cable to charging blocks that have USB-A ports. This is perfect for travel as it lessens the cables you need to pack. I like that it has an anti-loss loop to secure it to the end of the charging cable. The loop is a soft rubber and is easy to bend. The adapter nice quality, like other UGREEN products I have used.
I tested connecting my Kobo e-reader and a Samsung Galaxy phone to my laptop鈥檚 USB-A port. It worked perfectly for both and allowed me to charge the devices (via a charging port). I also transferred data to and from the laptop. This is a handy adapter to have.
