While I was buying two wallets that claim to be RFID blocking from 鶹, I also picked up a set of these and also re-ordered a second set. The small wallet for my personal cards had a card insert that said so it was RFID blocking, but the larger wallet for ID and house cards from a different vendor did not mention this except in the 鶹 ad. I decided some RFID blocking cards would also be extra protective. I have 2 in the small wallet to guard whatever is in between. I have 3 set up in the larger wallet since the cards fit in at different heights and on 4 different areas in the wallet…it opens like a book with a page in the middle and there are slots on both sides of the page. I also noted that the card will protect what is immediately in front and behind for a limited distance (see ad pictures) which is the reason for the 3 cards set up at different heights in three of the sections in the wallet. Probably overkill, but people are becoming more sneaky and there are apps to help them with their criminal activities too. So I did test one of the cards at the grocery store. I let the cashier know what I was doing and why. (She had no clue that people could read data from your wallet and steal it.) So I place the RFID card over the Bank card and tried tap. No reading. Removed the RFID card and tried tap again…transaction went through. I was sold. Ordered a second set so that my DH could have some for his wallet (He informed me he had some sleeves. First I knew that he was already guarding his ID. Hmmmff!!!) and some for some friends who we will be travelling with during the summer. A valuable purchase. Do place more than one in your wallet especially if it a complicated design with multiple areas for card storage. And make sure that others become educated regarding identity theft.
