  A little noisy, but no more than a other devices with a motor. I used it to wash socks and I think it's the cleanest it's ever been. If you can cover the tub, it would be helpful because the water splashed during agitation. I place my bucket in the tub and drilled a spout at the bottom of the bucket to drain the water.
