Haven't had at problems with the connections, everything all still weekend, and it doesn't appear to have scratched the iMac at all. it's a pretty good match for the colour and texture of the back of my silver iMac. The front of the iMac is smooth plastic (?) which it doesn't match but that doesn't bother me. Love that I don't have to fish around blindly for the plugs on the back I can't see, and love that I don't need a billion dongles or a big adapter on my desk for usb3s. I don't use the photo card adapter much but it's a nice touch. Great product.
