Customer Review

    Beginner TIG user here.
Done torch & MIG/stick for years.
Bought the Arccaptain 200P ACDC a few weeks ago & thought I'd try the pedal.
It came with 3 cables, only one of them fit and I had apparently reversed the connections and it didn't work, but once it was plugged in correctly, all was OK.
The plug/cable pinout is NOT symmetrical (wiring pic attached).

Works well, BUT, depending on your auto helmet, switching via the pedal between very low & high current can cause flashes as the cheap helmet decides to turn off & on (low current=low light=helmet turns off).

Also, I believe one needs to be sitting in a fairly comfortable position to use the pedal, otherwise it's like standing up trying to control your car's gas pedal.
Might have to grab one of those adjustable swivel stools.

    My 2 cents anyway!
