  I usually buy the ceremonial matcha, but thought I would try the culinary grade because I was drinking matcha lattes so often. The flavor is really different from the ceremonial. It’s stronger in flavor and more bitter and tastes worse than the ceremonial. I will finish what I have, but I will be going back to the ceremonial. If you haven’t had the ceremonial matcha, then the culinary grade might taste fine to you. Just having had both, the ceremonial is the way to go.
