  I don't use the gloves as gardening ones, I don't have a garden. I use them to protect my hands while riding a bike, sailing (excellent grip on the ropes) and when I need protection in general. It is easy to cut off the finger tips if you need to use a cell phone. They are not very sturdy but are so cheap that if you cover them with grime you just dispose of them. the fingers are long and the size fits me perfectly (I am 7 glove)
