- Reviewed in Canada on December 10, 2023The cabinet is well designed with heavy duty wood planks finished in a textured white protective coating that makes it splash resistant & easy to clean from being handled. The inside also has 4mm glass to hold up items weighing up to 2kg on each shelf and gives this cabinet overall an aesthetically premium look.
Assembly process is time consuming and requires careful attention to inserting screws level with pre-drilled holes but generally straight forward process to attach front, sides, door and other parts of this cabinet together. It took approximately 2 hours to finish it completely including placing 4 glass shelves onto individual suction cup risers gently.
Size of this cabinet is spacious both inside & out measuring approximately 12" inches in width from each side and 27.5" total height with low profile depth of 7.75" inches. Each shelf is also 10" inches wide by 6.8" inches deep with about 5.25" inches of space clearance between top and bottom. They can be adjusted only during assembly after screwing together 4 mounting brackets to hold up each shelf.
Each wood plank board is made of 1" inch MDF but does have significant weight once assembled together which is excellent for durability but also challenge holding it up while mounting onto walls. The process requires drilling four screws straight through holes, inserting drywall plugs and then finally screwing in the cabinet. Since it weighs a lot for its size, the cabinet must be inserted into studs on all four holes limiting the placement in bathrooms or other locations.
Functionally there's built-in lock & key mechanism to prevent gaining access to contents stored on its five interior shelves, four of which are glass. The set of two keys does make it convenient to share and they're compact enough to attach on loops for carrying. One important thing to note is the cabinet must be gripped from its door or key mechanism to open/close slowly as it lacks handles or soft close mechanism.
Overall this cabinet covers it all functionally & aesthetically with minimalist white design, heavy duty wood plank finish which is easy to clean, 4 glass shelves on inside plus wood bottom shelf spaciously sized capacity. The keyed lock mechanism also makes opening this cabinet both safe and convenient to use.
