  The 2 gallon size is the maximum you would want to carry. I am using it to spray for weeds. The tips that come with it are more than adequate to do a lot of chores. The spray pattern for the herbicides is approximately 1 foot across and it is time saving. When you read the manual it mentions a brown tip. This model does not come with a brown tip even though it is mentioned in the manual. They made a manual for two models and had the same info for both models. Some people thing they are missing a tip-I phoned the company and was advised the package I bought was not supposed to have a brown tip. I am very happy with the quality of this sprayer. I am 6' 3" tall. The hose and wand are just the right size.
