  It was a great, although somewhat frustrating initial experience with teaching him how to use the drill and what each tool is called and left loosy, righty tighty etc. Now that's he is somewhat experienced he loves to play with it and only needs help once in awhile so I would recommend it as long as you know what you are getting into and have the patience/one on one time to put in to it. My son was so excited to work with his own tools with his daddy and learn "big 4 year old boy" stuff. It gives him something he's allowed to take apart over and over to keep him out of trouble.
