- Reviewed in Canada on May 7, 2025We are always looking for some fun toys to use when camping... sure, I'm a 50-year-old kid with kids but why not? I had remote boats before and these are very similar. These are fast and very responsive. The best part is when they flip, they will automatically turn right side up. This is vital if you are using them in a big area of water and you don't want to have to swim out to save them.
The two boats are very well made, sturdy and can take some rough play in the water, a few crashes and such. The remotes are a little weaker in their build but they work just fine, but I'd be wary about dropping them.
The ability to use both boats at the same time is great, they must be using two different frequencies but being able to play together is the best part of it. Love being able to race and chase each other.
These will hold a charge for a good amount of time and they charge fast too. The description says about 40 minutes of play. I would say that's not far off, I think it really depends on how you are using them, sometimes it lasted more than that, sometimes a little shorter.
These are great for young boat racers, and likely a good way to see if you are interested in investing in larger model boats to race.
Overall... perfect for the pool, good for a calm lake, and a BOATLOAD of fun.
