Emma of Crooked Creek I love this very short story, left me wanting more! Looking forward to read this author's other books!
Hattie of Crooked Creek I loved this novella, written by MK McClintock was perfect for me! I loved her heroine Harriett McBride, a young widow, who has to take care of the McBride horse ranch with the help of two men. Along comes trouble! Enters in her life, a brave man named Carson White Eagle, who only wishes to protect her from danger, but Hattie is a stubborn and determine woman. Will she accept his help and friendship? Just relax and imagine yourself in 1865, Crooked Creek and enjoy Hattie and Carson’s short journey into Montana’s wilderness! We meet again, Emma!
Briley of Crooked Creek I've just spent a beautiful hour reading, Briley of Crooked Creek, nicely written by MK McClintock, her 3rd story in the Crooked Creek series. I love this series so much, it's a real pleasure to meet this new heroine, Briley, a determine young woman! Her story starts, as Briley, a young Irish girl, arrives in Crooked Creek, to meet her future husband, only to discover, no one is there to meet her. She finds herself all alone in a small place set in the Montana territory. Enters, sheriff Peyton Sawyer to her rescue, by offering his help and friendship! Spending time knowing each other, will create a beautiful relationship. I just love these shorts stories, set in the wilderness of Montana, they are very well written, and so refreshing with independent and brave women blended in western adventures set in post-Civil War Montana.
Clara of Crooked Creek I love this new series, A Crooked Creek, which follow smart and independent heroines who settle in Montana during the 1800s. I have already followed, Emma, Briley and Hattie, now it's Clara's turn. It tells the short story of Clara, a young unwed mother, with a five year old daughter, named Alice. She plans to opened an inn and settle her life at Crooked Creek where she meets the other charming characters of her previous novellas. This is a sweet introduction! Ms. McClintock plans to write a full-length story of all four heroine, their western journey should be filled with romance and adventure!
