  I've had a number of dogs over the years and I put them all on this product, even at a young age to help protect their joints. It is vet recommended and recommended on a dog training site that I follow. My dogs love the taste of the product and have never complained about it. I'm sure it is not as effective as medications from the vet, but its a nice supplement and I've seen good results in my dogs to using it.
