  This receiver is exactly as advertised. I was looking to connect to the Galaxy 19 satellite and it already came with that satellite connection configured, so setup was very easy and I had found dozens of channels in a few minutes and was watching TV within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box. The box came with all the items listed (remote, HDMI cable, etc).
  Great buy.
