- Reviewed in Canada on January 27, 2025I鈥檝e had a few different lights to illuminate my work desk, and to provide lighting while doing video calls. Unfortunately it means having a few different lights spread out and at different temperatures. This desk lamp has taken care of that!
I love how it hooks easily behind my desk and reaches over my dual monitors, and can be adjusted using the flexible neck to reach where I need. It has a button on the top (when the lights are facing downward) that lets you adjust the lights and turn them on/off. And while that would be good enough for my work, I love - LOVE - how it has a separate remote control that lets me fine tune the settings, and to not have to find the power button when I need it. The remote feature makes it simple to just move the controls wherever I need.
Speaking of light, it has great lighting. I鈥檓 able to adjust the arms to get the light exactly as I need, plus adjust both the amount of brightness and the temperature, varying from a bright white to a warm yellow-ish light. It鈥檚 more adjustable in both temperature and brightness than almost any other light that I鈥檝e used, so I鈥檓 quite impressed.
Now the only thing I鈥檇 say is a bit of a bother is that the remote control uses 2 AAA batteries instead of rechargeable using a USB-C like many other items that are out there these days. But other than that little thing, I鈥檇 say this light is pretty much perfect for my desk.
