  When the cable works, the picture quality through S-video is flawless. However, the wires are very thin and extremely fragile. The slightest tug changing the cable to another TV and it broke internally resulting in a b&w image. I can still get the colour back by gently moving the cable around, but it's difficult to recommend this based on how brittle the wires are. If you buy this: BE INSANELY GENTLE.
