- Reviewed in Canada on March 27, 2025I'm a Makita fan and there are probably other ratcheting screw drivers that are better. This has a good weight and feel to it. I have big hands and the contoured grip is comfortably. I was hoping to stuff the innerds with bits from my quicpic driver, but the bits were too long.
The set of 1" bits you get are robinson (square) and philips (star) - you only get a couple of sizes of each. The bits are stored in moulded rubber that is attached to the end cap - pull out the cap, the bits come with it. Since I tried to make my plan of swapping out the bits work, I trimmed off the rubber holder from the cap - oops, now the cap is a little loose because I trimmed too close to the cap. In the end, I took some 1" impact driver bits, one for each size I need - flat head, philips, robinson with the main sizes of each - I should have gone that route from the begining, the tool would been perfect.
The black dial which in the pictures looks like an extension of the handle closet to the big holder has a forward, middle and backward arrow - it's kind of hard to see - would be better if it was a hard plastic insert or moulded into the holder and painted. A nit picky thing but, aside from the selection of 1" bits it comes with, my only other complaint.
