Very good source of prebiotic (food for the friendly gut bacteria) fiber - I add inulin to my morning cereal, yoghurt, and even my coffee and other drinks. It has very little sweetness to it, so it does not interfere with the taste of whatever you're adding it to. It is pure fiber, so if you add one 5g scoop to your food or drink, you're adding an extra 5 grams of (very healthy) fiber to your diet. I started using inulin after I learned that we must keep our healthy gut bacteria happy through feeding them good fiber. This product has made me more regular and helped me cut back the carb count off my diet. I feel healthier and my digestion has improved so much!
