This book is so relatable and so real. It鈥檚 not your typical airy fairy mindfulness book with a whole lot of fluff and very little actionable and realistic strategies to survive the real world. It鈥檚 apparent that Erin Edwards has experienced life and has really transformed her experiences into invaluable lessons we can all relate to. Her compassion, wisdom, and perspective provide a brand new lens on what we call life in the fast lane. Especially during a time like now- a global pandemic- majority of the world is in distress and constantly living in a state of fear and hopelessness. This is the perfect book to have handy for some quick inspiration and realistic methods on regaining control over our own minds.
Did I mention she has exercises in the book as well? I love it when there are things I can write down to guide my own thinking and direct my own thoughts, this book does just that. It鈥檚 the perfect blend of information, real life lessons, tools for desperate times, and a sense of hope. It鈥檚 the perfect drink for me.
