Customer Review

It’s a bit dated but no more than any other classic and remains an important story about how community, power, and fear. This is the tale of a shipwrecked group of classmates who must survive being stranded on an island with no rule book to govern their behaviour and must learn to manage themselves to stay alive.

I found out this book was no longer required reading in high school and promptly bought a copy for my kids to read. This was to replace my old tattered copy that needed to be retired.
