  I used this product for what it is advertised for, to clean my coffee maker. It did such a poor job that I threw the rest in the garbage! It certainly did not descale the machine. Plain white vinegar did a much better job than these did. So don't buy these unless you enjoy throwing your money away. Rating it at 1 star is being very generous but, unfortunately, zero stars is not an option.
