This plant waterer is made from glass. It consists of a small bulb and a straw-like material. The instructions involve using a piece of fabric to cover the straw to better control the flow. I just folded a piece of gauze in half and tied that to the straw to facilitate the dripping process. The globes look very beautiful and the size is best for small to medium-sized plants. There is a plug at the top to refill the globe as needed. I would be very careful about setting these waters up and ensuring they’re stable because they are top heavy once filled with water. I have a plant on my bookshelf and placed the waterer on the soil inside its pot. The waterer tipped over and fell onto the floor. Luckily, I had carpeting to cushion the fall, but if we had tile, the glass would have been broken.
