- Reviewed in Canada on April 17, 2025Recently after using food-warming silicon mat on our quartz kitchen countertop for 30 min or so, our countertop got very hot developed a crack from edge, and it creeped in almost a foot towards the center however after noticing we quickly removed the hot mat and in few hours the cracked closed to some extent automatically but still clearly visible which looks very terrible. So, from quite a while I was looking for a solution. When I saw this quartz repair kit, I decided to give it a try before considering professional help.
The kit has everything needed and instructions are easy to follow. It has an advertisement video which helped a lot, though there was a bit of a learning curve at first. The repair process was straightforward and didn't take much time. No need to mix or stir, just need to apply repair material to the damaged area of the countertop and the included UV light cured it quickly. While the repaired crack isn't totally invisible, but it blends well enough and needs really close look to notice it.
