  This electric fence tape is a convenient bulk pack for DIY electric fencing. It unreels easily, fits into most fibreglass/plastic fence posts, or on insulators on regular wood or steel posts. the visibility is good for cows and horses. The conductivity seems good as my energizer reports a high voltage (not a lot of losses).
  
  It works great to keep the livestock in, but not as good at keeping the varmints/predators out. For that you need the full fencing, or at least traditional fencing with this at the bottom and top as standoffs to dissuade raccoons, fox, skunks, coyotes etc.. Still a great product to have on hand for those quick fencing jobs, temporary pastures, and repairs etc.
