- Reviewed in Canada on March 29, 2025This 6 pack of child safety cabinet locks by Jiudone do seem to work well. Here is what I do not like about them:
- there is no instructions on how to adjust them to the size that you want. It takes time for you to figure this out. - can be challenging for people with arthritis to operate these, especially for Grandma. - They need to update their information on the page advertising the product as there is conflicting information. In the pictures provided which still does not help with how to adjust them, it states that it is a pack of 8 locks with 8 additional 3M stickers. However, the description and the actual amount that you get is 6 locks with 6 additional stickers. I do realize that this isn't a huge thing but when it comes to advertising responsibilities this is a simple problem that can be easily fixed to prevent other issues down the road for the manufacturer. It is important that you always clean and ensure that the surface is completely dry prior to installing these locks on your cupboard doors. What I do like is that the locks are long enough that if there is a separating wall between two doors opening opposite directions you have ample room to work with and still use the same locks for your home. I also like the fact that they not only use 3M stickers which is a great brand that you can count on the quality of the material but that they also give you extras just in case. One other thing that I would recommend to you is to allow the stickers to adhere without any use for 12 hours at least which allows for better adhesion and less likely for the stickers to come off when you use the locks. The best installation time suggestion would be to do it early evening when you know you do not need access to the cupboards and by the next morning when you wake up they will be ready to use.
