My older vehicle has bluetooth, and a display screen, but it's not a touchscreen and it doesn't have Android Auto or Apple Carplay built in. This was the perfect solution, but to be honest, for the price with what features it had, I didn't expect it to perform so well. The screen is a nice glass screen, unlike some other devices that have that almost plastic feel them, and it has great touch sensitivity. Simple taps register, dragging and sliding, pinching etc to zoom, all flawless.
Installation was simple, I have yet to run the power cord so it's hidden, as I was more interested in trying this out during my Christmas road trip. Simply used the suction cup arm mount, and mounted it to a smooth section of my dash, it's holding tight and hardly vibrates or moves when driving.
I like that it starts up when I start my car, don't need to power cycle or anything, but that is my vehicle, as the charging port is not live always.
The screen starts up quickly, and connects to my phone and vehicle via bluetooth. Commands and voice prompts are loud and clear, display is bright and responsive. I like that you can have a multi window so you can see your map and what's playing on Sirius or spotify etc.
There is no lag whatsoever. I am so excited to now have Android Auto in my car.
Great addition to older vehicles without Android Auto or Apple Carplay built in
