  I tested this bath thermometer with a couple of different thermometers that I have, both normally used for cooking. This floating thermometer is surprisingly accurate. Being used for a baby, there are no sharp edges or corners and I feel comfortable leaving it in the tub with my little in there.
  
  There is no beep if the temperature is too high, which for me, would be a great addition to this thermometer. The screen does change colour, but I think a warning beep would be much better.
  
  The material feels tough enough for a toy, but I don't let my little one chew on this because there are electronics involved.
  
  I like that it turns off automatically, and I found that it dried quite quickly.
