This knife features a "lefty" liner lock for the blade & another for the flat head driver/bottle opener. The lock for the blade needs to be pushed to the right when you're holding the knife towards & facing you. This is opposite to %99 other liner locks on the market that inherently push to the left, allowing 1-handed closing. This knife, unless you're left-handed, is *very* hard to close with your right hand. Otherwise design-wise, I have no complaints.
I ended up returning mine because the saw had metal flakes & looked like the teeth were rounded. My friend commented that they looked like hearts lol I got a lemon, but I doubt you will too. It's a great multi-tool if a serrated blade is what you need. I personally went with the Skeletool RX & CX due to the deeper serrations & my need for pliers.
Definitely a rating of 4/5, I'd say as far as design & function. The serrations are just a bit shallow for me & I don't like the chisel sharpening angle on the non-serrated section; in my opinion I would've liked a standard 20 degree angle from Vic like on their regular SAKs. The choice to add serrations at the tip of the blade rather than near the choil/handle effectively makes this a full serrated knife with a chisel grind near the choil - unsure of the angle used there.
