The Dyson is IMPOSSIBLE to pull across carpet, even low pile carpet. So鈥 I dragged the Dyson over my shag area rug section by section and got a workout I really didn鈥檛 need or want. It was frustrating and exhausting. There is no way I want to struggle like that every time I do housework.
Just ran the Bissell over the same shag rug (and my cat has been staying at my daughter鈥檚 so there should be very little to pull up after the Dyson episode) and LOOK! I was momentarily worried it was going to be a problem to push as well, but it turns out it was just a learning curve and not the vacuum trying to permanently affix itself to the rug via overly intense suction.
Super easy and effective on low pile carpet and bare floors. Super long cord is really nice to have and the auto rewind is a fantastic bonus. Very happy and highly recommend!
