The stand itself is solid, weight OK, but the base is too small. With my Blue Yeti in a vertical mount, the stand is easy to knock over. This is because the base is too small for the Yeti and there are 3 small round pads on the bottom of the stand which are the only contact points. This makes it unstable. If the bottom had a solid round pad covering the whole base, it might be more stable. The pop screen is useless. It does not hold any shape and just flops down. Tossed it in the garbage and grabbed a Newer. These are great and I have it installed as shown in my photo. Attach it to the smaller upper post not the bottom. Also be careful as the smaller post that fits inside the larger one falls out the bottom when you unscrew it and nothing is mounted on it. Would not buy this again but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for".
