  Got this so supplement the one that came with my Breville 870XL espresso maker. I thought it would be simpler than just feeling the bottom of the jug with my finger.
  
  Turns out it's not. The temperature gauge seems to take its time to update and generally indicates temp just as you're about to burn your milk. It looks nice but bottom line, I'd say it's superfluous. Stick with the one from your espresso maker.
