  I needed this for a topping on a chocolate caramel cake. I balked at the price and put off buying it due to the expense. However, I did (and do) love that it is harvested by hand, not "processed" and Canadian made.
  
  I am overwhelmed regarding the flavour of this salt and very happy I put out the money for it. This hand harvested salt took this cake to a level I did not believe possible. No other salt, to my current knowledge can come close.
  
  This is an "accent" salt used sparingly as not much is needed. I'm glad I bought the tub as it will last us a good long time. When I run out though, I will not hesitate to buy it again.
