  As a Double Edge shaver I wanted to give this a try. I used a brush and faced lathered. it did not pop but gave enough that i was willing to try. it is definetely a good back up. it's better than anything from a can, but not as good as a good dedicated shaving soap, better than wilkisons sword soap but less than proraso.
  this would be great for a trip when space is an issue or your emergency bag as it's now in my emergency bag.
  if you are using can cream or gel, i'd say give this a try you'll be suprised and not go back to the cans.
