  Leaked from black base within 30 days. I proactivity replaced an older water valve starting show damage on threads (disconnect every fall and remove to prevent damage from water freezing inside which takes a toll on threads over life) and this new one leaked within a month. End up putting old one back on - thank goodness I kept it as a spare. Got a new one from the a local trailer dealer for twice the price and hope it will have a better life span.
